About D.A.D, Inc.
At an early age I was responsible for the care and well being of my younger sibling, which was a challenge at the age of 9. During these years I found myself loving the responsibility and somewhat independence to know I was the lead. This time spent with my brother was my foundation to early education. It is though my discipline, self-worth and knowing that I was able to do something to help out my family. During my high school days I continued to volunteer in daycare learning centers in and after school peer tutoring programs. While earning my degree in biology I was still leaning toward teaching by developing tutoring services for students within the department. It was not until I had my own children did I truly appreciate my calling hence “Dependable Affordable Daycare” was born.
Working with these children has been a wonderful fulfilling experience, knowing somehow I was able to enhance their lives. It has always brought great joy to my life working with kids and it always will. DAD, Inc. has educated and cared for children since 2005, and was founded by Takeisha Dixon.
